HurricaneVision is a cutting-edge hurricane track and intensity prediction system, developed in-house by engineers at AtmoSphere Analytics. HurricaneVision uses deep artificial intelligence to predict the track and future intensity of tropical cyclones without relying on intense physics calculations that traditional weather models use.

The Three HurricaneVision Products

Track Probability

HurricaneVision's ensemble probabilistic prediction of where the tropical cyclone may track within 100km during the duration of its life. This is based on the 1000+ members' mean output for each point along the projected cyclone track.

Most Likely Intensity

HurricaneVision's ensemble prediction for the most likely wind speed of the tropical cyclone within the track. This is based on the 1000+ members' mean output for each point along the projected cyclone track.

Deterministic Control Forecast

HurricaneVision's control member deterministic forecast for track & intensity of the cyclone. This is a single un-perturbed model's prediction of the evolution of the cyclone -- again, using deep machine learning instead of complex and inefficient physics calculations. The other products are made up of thousands of perturbed members, similar to this control member.
